El paraguayo Néstor Bareiro, cuando corrían dos minutos de descuento, le dio la victoria al elenco aurinegro. Con anterioridad, a los 3 de la parte complementaria Diego Galván había puesto en ventaja al elenco de Omar de Felippe y dos minutos más tarde había igualado Javier Cámpora.
Huracán se retiró insultado y ve como peligrosamente se le acerca Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata. Olimpo, que se llevó un premio excesivo, empieza a respirar más tranquilo.
El técnico de Huracán, a pesar de la posibilidad que sus dirigidos dejaron escapar, no vio todo negativo tras la caída ante Olimpo: «Fue el partido que más situaciones de gol creamos, lo teníamos para ganar», dijo.

Hay que levantar cabeza, quedan seis finales. Mas allá de la derrota, estoy tranquilo porque se jugó bien, tuvimos dos errores y lo pagamos caro. No nos podemos dar el lujo de bajar los brazos ahora, tenemos que salir de esta situación todos juntos. Sabemos que tuvimos partidos malos, pero hoy jugamos mejor y no alcanzó.
Si no confiara en este equipo y no creyera que vamos a levantar, me quedo en casa. Vamos a dejar todo en los partidos que restan, ojalá podamos sumar en Santa Fe.
La gente está dolida, los hinchas siempre quieren ganar, es normal que se manifiesten cuando pierden. Tenemos que estar todos unidos, hoy más que nunca.

Es difícil analizar un partido como el de hoy, por el resultado. Merecimos ganar y tuvimos las chances para hacerlo, pero cuando cometés errores los terminás pagando.
Nos reunimos con el cuerpo técnico cuando terminó el partido y estamos con fuerza para seguir. Hoy armamos un esquema para complicar al rival y lo conseguimos, pero por fallas propias dejamos pasar una buena oportunidad para sumar.
Si a mí me tocaba como hincha perder un partido así, obviamente me iba a enojar mucho. En esta situación en la que estamos, perder un partido como éste y de la manera que lo hicimos, genera mucha bronca, pero somos los que estamos y tenemos fuerza para luchar.
Creo que si volvemos a jugar de esta manera, pero sin cometer errores, vamos a empezar ganar. Y vamos a tener la posibilidad de jugar la Promoción. De lo contrario se va a complicar mucho el panorama.

Huracán es un grande, no puede estar en la situación que está. A mí me duele mucho lo que pasa: estuve en el club como jugador y como técnico, es una institución a la que aprecio mucho. Pero lamentablemente, cuando no todos tiran para el mismo lado pasan cosas como ésta.
No es que le eche la culpa a esta CD. Huracán viene mal hace rato. Cuando estuve acá pasaba lo mismo. Un club grande como éste no puede oscilar siempre entre la Primera y el Ascenso. Pero mientras que hinchas, jugadores, cuerpo técnico y dirigentes no se pongan de acuerdo y tiren todos para el mismo lado, la situación no va a cambiar.
